Limited Warranty for Toshiba Solid-State Drive.

This limited warranty will vary depending on the country where you first purchase the Products, and only apply to the Products sold by Toshiba or Toshiba Authorized Distributors in that country.

Toshiba expressly disclaims all warranties not stated in this limited warranty. Any implied warranties that may be imposed by law are limited in duration to the term of this express limited warranty.

Toshiba, its affiliates and suppliers do not warrant that operation of this product will be uninterrupted or error free.

If this product fails to work as warranted above, customer’s sole and exclusive remedy shall be replacement.

In no event will Toshiba, its affiliates or suppliers be liable to customer or any third party for any damages in excess of the purchase price of the Product.

Toshiba Limited Warranty:

This limited warranty commences on the date of purchase and expires three (3) years after the date of purchase and covers the product for warranty service required within the country where the Product was originally purchased and is extended only to the original purchaser and only covers product purchased as new.

Toshiba warrants that the Product is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Proof of purchase showing price, date, location of purchase and Product description may be required for warranty service.

Toshiba may elect to replace defective Product by shipment of new or remanufactured product equivalent or superior to original factory specifications on an exchange basis.
You must pay for freight and insurance of the Product to Toshiba Authorized Maintenance Center. The Product must be shipped in its original packaging or packaging of the same level to prevent damage such as surface scratches. You shall bear the risk of loss of or damage to the Product during shipment. 

Toshiba does not provide warranty service to the following products:
1. Service made necessary by accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, improper
installation, improper maintenance, or usage outside the range of temperature (heat/cold) and/or moisture operating conditions as outlined in the products specifications listed in the Owner’s manual;
2. Product or parts that have been lost or discarded by you or damage to the Product or parts caused by fires, misuse, abuse, accident, Acts of God (such as lightning or fluctuations in electric power);
3. Product purchased “AS-IS” or “With known faults, defects or problems”;
4. Service made necessary by dismantling the outer case of the Products;
5. Product that is not located in the country where it is originally purchased;
6. Service made necessary by use of third party products that are not compatible with the Products; and
7. Service made necessary by use of accessories not manufactured or sold by Toshiba.

Before returning any product for service, please be sure to back up data and remove any confidential, proprietary, or personal information. Toshiba is not responsible for damage to, loss or compromise of any programs or data.
